Boston Legal Series Finale

I won't post any spoilers for the Left Coasters, but I can't say I liked the way they went out...
It seems like they went out of their way to go with the biggest possible bang.
I do hope they make a spin off with an other network as I think there are still a number of seasons worth of stories that can still be told by the cast of misfits. Deep down I suspect that it won't happen though and this is likely due to their own antics.
When The Practice went out they managed to keep it classy, touching and fun. Unfortunately Boston Legal chose to go in the other direction.
I don't know how I would have written it differently, but then again... I'm not a network writer.
