Sextant thanks to Mark!
I really like this blend, it has a light hand of Latikia that complements the rum topping and the dark fired Ky gives it that stout kick that let's you know it's there.
On a side note, strong tobacco has always settled my stomach and this is doing the job after a late night trip to a local brick fired pizza joint!

Thanks Mark, gonna have to postpone it for a couple hours, my daughter is fired up to go back out and make some more cold calls. Out of 6 stops this morning to various business owners, she got 4 ads and 3 donation bucket drop offs. That is not counting what we did yesterday (her mom and I) just in passing conversations while taking care of other business in Reno.

Well that was worth the little extra wait.

Sadly, I'm down to about an ounce of my last tin of the old Nightcap...

It is pretty good stuff. It had 5 years on it when I bought it (few tins) in '98. I quit smoking cigars & pipes for several years but I always took care of the tobacco I had left. I have seen tins of this age on fleabay go around $100 give or take, but I'm not paying that much for it...for now at least...at least until I see how good or not good the new Nightcap is. I bought a sleeve of the new stuff so I can nurse what I have remaining of the old.

I can't compare the old to the new, but in my very short pipe smoking career, the new Nightcap is by far my favorite.

I'm interested in hearing your review once you smoke the new stuff.
