Default Ok,Help a newbie put a sampler together.

Its me again the newbie with 0 knowledge in the cigar world. I have been reading and looking all around this great site and feel it would be best left in the experts hands.

I am waiting on my humidor to arrive late this week or early next week.
I went to my local smoke shop and picked up 5 cigars based on what they thought where good ones. I have only had one and the others are sitting in my buddys humidor and I am already looking into getting more. I want to see if you guys will give me your top 5 mild-medium cigars. I know opinion will vary, but it will give me a list to pick from when I go to put another order in.

Thanks for the help.

san lotano habano for me is a good stick and I'm new as well, it's a medium / mild stick and it's not an expensive cigar either, I think I picked them up for $7 each

Illusione Epernays
Ashton Classics
EPC Core Lines
EPC Short Run NWC 2012s
Tat El Triunfadors

Though most of all, I'd suggest getting involved in the NST. Its a great way to get a sampling of whats out there.

I took your question to mean mild, medium, or anyting in between:

Arturo Fuente Hemingway Short Story (Med.)
Padron 2000 Natural (Med.)
Rocky Patel Vintage 1990 (Mild-Med.)
Berger & Argenti Mooch (Mild-Med.)
Cuenca y Blanco (Med.)
Oliva Serie O Habano (Med.)

Hope this helps, and have fun in your discovery of the many cigars available.

Here are some great cigars available at practically every B&M I've ever been in.

Oliva V (My go-to when I'm at a B&M and just want a good smoke.)
AF Hemingway (I like the short stories best but they're all good)
LGC Serie R (Great Maduro)
Padron 1964 Anniversary (Expensive but incredibly worth it)
Ashton VSG (Also expensive, but better than the ESG, which is really expensive.)

I actually like the Davidoff 2000 as well, more of a mild stick, don't want to say it's like a CC but it's got a good taste.
