Going for 5 days in a couple weeks. I know they have some peaberry there. Is there anything else I should buy up?

Look for boutique makers of anything. Ask at fancy bars and restaurants what products you should hunt for. The average bloke many not be a foodie and the like.

Grab a bottle of: Ron del Barrilito. It is a local gold rum that is very much like Havana Club 7 year.

There has to be better than Don Q made in PR. If not, save your luggage weight for something else. How about food items or local arts/crafts?

Barrilito rum is great, three star if you can find it. Coffee is hit or miss on the island. I have friends with farms but they are dormant at this time....lots of coffee flowers, harvest is in October. Alto Grande and Yauco is what you will find marketed on the island.
