Default Rocky Patel Winter Collection

I don't usually do reviews but I found this cigar worth mentioning.

There was a RP event this past Saturday in S.Fla and quite a few folks were talking about the strength of this cigar.
Me being a lover of strong cigars decided to grab a few.

What I found was raw power at the beginning.
What surprised me was it ended up being very similar to a Fuente Anejo!
I'd like to hear if any of you are in agreement with my thoughts.

The Winter Collection is Rocky's first full bodied cigar. I thought it was OK, but my customers love them.

Tried one last week after missing a roll-out event at the local B&M. I too like a strong cigar and found it satisfying. Funny though---pre-light aroma from the wrapper smelled a little like...uh...mint. Though I have eased up on my RP Jones the past year or so, I liked this one. My fav of the RP seasonals.

This is the second favorable review I've seen on these. I think I'm gonna hunt some up. Thanks Dave.

Just bought five of the robustos at my local B&M ($6.15 each). The owner said they just arrived last week and she's on her second box. Now I have to decide whether to try one now or let it rest.

hmmm. I did not like these very much but now that you mention it, it did remind me a lot of the fuente anejo. I'll have to see how I feel about it when i smoke all the seasons again, after the spring stick comes out
