The merits. I find the "joke" offensive and in bad taste. There have been several politically charged jokes posted in this thread that were clearly partisan, but were not offensive (and some even funny). To me this one crossed the line.

It's not a joke about the prez. He was wearing what's been called for ages a "hang dog" look. When I saw the picture the first thing I thought of was a long faced hound look. The pictures speak for themselves. It is not in any way a reflection of the actual person, just the look. You have to admit there are similarities.

That's the way I took it. The "oh geez" look that a lot of dogs have. Not meant to be offensive I'm sure.
