The people who did the booze for our wedding are opening a B&M on Friday, sent us a 15% off anything coupon to use, think I'll go right when they open the first day and see if they have anything interesting. Last time I went blind to a liquor store opening there were a ton of whiskey fiends waiting as well and they didn't have anything too cool (other than the handles of ER), but this company does a ton of events and probably moves the volume to get allocate bottles so I'm hoping I can luck out
When you are down here, remind me to take you to my preferred store.

I used to buy those up every time I saw them at MSRP, I'm happy to drink that neat all day long. Only stopped because I have more of it than I can drink

Never seen the 1.75 in IL. I did see the 1L Weller 12, but they wanted $250. Pass.

For the longest time I couldn't find 750s of SR, only 1.75s. I was buying them up at <$40 each, eventually did find a 750 and added it to the collection for variety but that one's still sealed

1.75 under $40 is winning big.

Saw a GTS 2017 today for only $699.

Going to a concert up in Fort Collins tonight, gonna hit up a whiskey bar a couple blocks down and walk over. Their prices have gone up on certain things that seemed underpriced when I first checked them out, but I think I'll still be able to finds something I like

Went to the liquor store opening, not too many exciting things. I did get the last of their two bottles of Taylor Rye but other than that and SR they didn't have much for allocated bourbon. After that hit up the gas station liquor across from my old apartment and found a bottle of C919

Now that's a good day, Ben! Taylor Rye rocks!

I've got a bottle of the C919 but have yet to crack it, I hear it's the best of 2019. I'm still working on an open A119.

Wish I could get that much good stuff at a non-exciting grand opening~!

Finally tracked down a single bottle of Larceny BP on Saturday, had a pour of it on Friday and was very impressed. Called the store, they said they had one bottle and couldn't hold it, I rushed down to get it and as I was walking in the door a guy was walking out with it

They did have one bottle of McKenna 10 year, so I picked that up instead, but not what I was hoping for
