Was you're Liverpool-Atlético Madrid actually on Deportes? I had it on here (time-warner in Milwaukee) I had it on Espn 2. It was even in HD.
All in all I was fairly disappointed in both sides. Pretty choppy game, neither team really got into any rhythm. Reffing was pretty, although consistently bad. I think this played apart in the lack of flow. Was disappointed that Kuyt and Keane didn't get to start together. I think if they would have, Liverpool would have put it away in the first half. If Torres would have been playing,it wouldn't have even been close.

Beckham to AC Milian? I thought it was just going to be the 'training' like he did last year but now they are talking it will be a permanent move. Why do people need an old, old. old midfielder whose prime is so past I don't even have those FIFA games anymore.

Becks still has some talent left... (not that he had an outrageous amount to being with) but certainly his experience is what makes him valuable.

It's the mercandise he sells and the media coverage he will get for the club that makes him valuable.

Take that, Chelsea.

Liverpool records a 1-0 win with a goal by Xabi Alonso - who just happens to be on my fantasy team.

I was pulling for Lpool (and for some reason guys became attractive). Great win. This is shaping up to be a fantastic year. I am amazed with Hull. 1/4 of the way through and with each game getting more and more safe.

Hull has certainly been fantastic. If they finish in the top half of the league thats pretty dogon impressive. If they keep at the pace they are, they'll finish ahead of all the teams that said they'd break into it this season... Man City, Aston Villa...

an impressive start doesn't guarentee anything. Reading just missed qualifing for the uefa cup in their first PL season. they relegated in their 2nd season.
