Default New Humidor

I am going form a 2x2 size humidor to a 3x4 size

Will the "bead " package I have 3" wide x 6" long work the same
or do I need a bigger holder or more beads etc

Is there a chart that shows number of cigars vs size of bead holder etc

My new humidor has a glass front door 3'x2'
If the sun is going to hit the front of it - should I blank it out from light

If the sun is going to hit it directly, I would suggest moving it to a different spot in the house. Even if you block the glass door with something, it will raise the temp to high and it will also cause you to have to rehydrate your beads all the time.
