Default American Viking Filthy Viking Robusto

https://cigarsdaily.com/product/the-...iking-robusto/
So, this review is for Tom since he seemed intrigued by it. This is a project cigar from Tim Swanson over at cigars daily. I've tried one other cigar in the American Viking line and thought it was pretty good so I thought it's time for a formal review. So, let's kick it off and start the review!

Wrapper: Wrapper is milk chocolate with an almost pinkish hue to it in the light, a couple veins with a single cap (BOO!)

Pre-Light/Draw: Pre-light aroma has a lot of deep earthiness to it along with some ammonia. Draw is perfect with just enough resistance.

Lots of chocolate to start along with sweet tobacco, earthiness, Kola nuts, cinnamon, baking spices, burnt marshmallow, hints of leather, toastiness, Hints of cedar, Finish is creamy but short,

honey, chocolate, earthiness, sweet tobacco, nuttiness, sweet baking spices, hints of leather, cedar, The 2/3rd hints at a cuban cigar in flavor, white pepper, Vanilla, Toastiness, Finish is creamy and short,

Hints of honey, earthiness, nuttiness, toastiness, white pepper, cinnamon, nutmeg, cocoa, cedar, sweet tobacco, hints of leather, vanilla, Finish is the same as before creamy but short, I’m amazed by how much this reminds me of a PSD4, Graham Cracker,

Ash/Burn: Ash held tight and well constructed. The burn was even requiring no touch ups

Final Thoughts: What can I say? This was a pleasant surprise. I went in not expecting too much but found a well blended and complex cigar. Flavors were on the mild side but not enough to hurt it. There's a lot of value in this cigar. I'm a big fan of Tim Swanson at cigars daily and now i'm a fan of his house brand cigar. Yes, you should buy yourself a 5 pack sight unseen. This cigar is very enjoyable and i highly recommend it. You should also check out cigars daily channel on youtube as the content is always entertaining. His last podcast with Robert Caldwell was awesome. Anyways, I hope you enjoyed my review today and have a blessed day! God bless you all!

American Viking cigars aren't bad i promise you that. For the price, they offer a lot of quality from my limited experience. Tim Swanson's a good guy as well. Your typical gun loving, cigars smoking conservative, salt of the earth kind of guy. You should check his stuff out sometime. God bless you brother!
