Yes, not too solid between the pipes last time out. Fingers are crossed for tonight.

I'm torn. I think the Kings had a better chance against the Rangers. I still think they'll win though.

What does it say about my confidence in Blackhawk goaltending that I wish old man Hasek would consider Chicago?

I would do it Lucic was a bust last year, and his name has come up in the local papers as someone the B's might deal?

Lidstrom announcing his retirement tomorrow will post link later. Not good for the Wings but Detroit was very lucky to have a HOFer and legend on our blue line for so many years

Lidstrom was one of the best ever. First ballot HOFer for sure.

Here's the link. Losing Stuart and now Lidstrom on the blueline is going to be a killer. Going to need to at least get Suter and hopefully someone else. Still hoping for Parise too

Kings keep the road unbeaten streak alive. Gonna be tough to beat the way Quick is playing.

Sad news. IMO Lidstrom is the 2nd best D-man next to Bobby Orr. Given I'm biased but I'm lucky enough to have been able to watch him for 20 years.

Likewise, Christos. I think the Wings need Suter, Parise, and another top 4 D-man as well. This is truly the end of an era, but it doesn't have to be the end of the run for the Wings. They have a ton of cap room to get some fresh blood in here. In Holland we trust.
