Default Taboo Habano Sun Grown

Ok this is the real deal guys. Sorry about naming the connecticut as the hsg again. My bad!

I purchased the 18 pack sampler from taboo, and the HSG was the first I decided to try thanks to ir13's recommendations.

I really enjoyed this cigar. It had a very smooth flavor that left a very good after taste. It got a bit stronger in the 3/3, but it wasn't too much at all. It burned flawlessly, and the wrapper was BEAUTIFUL and immaculate. Very shiny! This stick also lit very easily. Probably the easiest light I have had yet. I usually need to have a good bit of a beverage while I smoke, but with this I barely drank at all. I highly recommend this cigar, as I will be purchasing more in the near future. I cannot wait to try some of the other sticks in the sampler! Here are some pics just to show off this badass stick! This also gave me the opportunity to test out my new cigar punch. I haven't used one before so I thought this would be an ideal time to try. It cut very nicely into the cap and didn't shred the wrapper or cause any peeling or anything.

I hope you guys enjoy the pics and they show you the quality of this cigar! This is really a great stick and I plan to buy more very soon!

Nice review

I had my first HSG last night in the corona flavor and was very impressed. It had a bit of spice on the pre light draw, but it really mellowed quickly. The ash held on for 1.5" and I enjoyed every minute of it.

Thanks for sharing

Thanks for the review and photo's Chris. The Taboo HSG is a great little smoke indeed. I have a few of the Toro's left in the humi at this time, and one of these days will make an attempt to try the Corona's

I loved the ones I've smoked, the 6 X 60 was my favorite but this was back when they were called Honduran Sun Grown and I don't see that size on the site any longer. I liked the 6 X 58 too. I think these were my favorite of all the Taboo line except for maybe the SFO, but that's a horse of a completely different color.

I'll have to pick up some next time I get out to Rob's place or place an order on-line. But it will be a while. I just spent this and next months cigar money on three boxes a bundle and a couple of 5 packs.

I may still have one or two of the Honduran SG in my humi. This was the first Taboo I tried and immediately knew that these were top notch.

Had an HSG last night. Great smoke. Thinking about reloading the humi (not that I don't already have a ton of Taboos).

I smoked a Taboo HSG corona tonight that I got in the Outdoorsman Pass, and liked it very well. Started out with a bit of spice, but quickly settled into a nice, smooth medium bodied cigar. I'd gladly add more of these to the humi.

My pleasure Luke! I smoked that la tradicion cuba you gave me today. It wasn't bad, but I feel it needed a bit more rest. CI is running a deal on buying one cigar and getting 2 5ers free with that purchase. One of the fiver options is for the GARs Thinking about getting it. I never got your package of them. I hope you didn't ship them and they got lost.
