I kinda suspect we all worry a bit about the Doc telling us to stop the cigars. Mine tells me it would be good to do but I'm so healthy it's not hurting me. If he said it was I would stop right then.
Thoughts and prayers for you to turn this around and have many more years to find other things to enjoy.

Very sorry to hear about your heart attack. As a registered nurse who works in a cardiac critical care unit, I see every day, just how scary it can be.

I sincerely hope that you can keep your resolve because tobacco does play a very bad part in all that.

And, as a guy who is overweight, smokes cigars, and drinks spirits, I applaud your strength and desire to do the right thing.

I fight in the hopes to show enough moderation and self control to stave off those kind of issues.

Kudos to you on this big step!

And may you enjoy a long life enjoying your loved ones and any other hobby that you choose to replace this with.

Steve, good luck and you have my prayers tonight for your health. We understand the decision although we don't have to like it but it's your health and that's the most important thing to take care of. What's the point of cigars if you're not around to smoke them?
