Default A New (to me) Pipe

So a while back I purchased an estate pipe via ebay, using price and appearance as my only real gauge in making my purchase. It arrived and looked decent enough (well used), but I had no idea if I'd made a good buy. Today I was finally able to get it to the B&M to have it cleaned. When I went back to pick it up the shop keeper informs me that what I had was a Ben Wade Standard and in fact he himself had the same pipe (has had it since the 70's). He filled my bowl and allowed me to give it a good smoke (it smoked really well).

I don't really know much about Ben Wade pipes, but was encouraged that the shop owner had the exact same pipe and has had it as one of his favorites for so many years. Hopefully I'll be able to say the same thing.
