Default Re: Third Annual Fantasy Football for Stakes and the Troops

I just realized I ran right around Stephen's question about basement price on the pass put sticks. I'd think $8.00 would be good.
As mentioned earlier, multiple sticks can be taken to make things work out.
I didn't pay any attention at all to the value of the seed sticks, but I do believe the great portion, or at least the average price of the seed sticks should be around that $8.00 limit. (That was my guess, it's why I insured at $400.)
Admittedly, I completely suck at cigar prices, but I've got a pretty good feel for most.
Please correct me if I'm wrong, and apple an on the collective knowledge of our group. That's what I do.

Cole, the box is already shipped as I mentioned earlier. My above comments should serve as a solution to any concern.

Ok, we gotta get this back on track for bets and get more sticks together for the troops...in that spirit, I am making a bet against the field, and I win nothing with only the possibility of losing more sticks to the troops, I will put up this bet:

I bet that their will be NO UNDEFEATED TEAMS AFTER THIS WEEK!!

Bet #1
If either 1 or both teams remain undefeated I owe 5 troop sticks

Bet #2
Also, in that spirit, since I play one of the undefeated teams (Sofaman), I am putting a bet out to Scott (Sofaman) that I beat him this week. Scott, I'm calling you out, so if you win you can choose either a 5'er of sticks to yourself or the troops. If I win, I will choose that you send a 5'er to the troops.

Therefore, I could be losing 10 total sticks this week if all goes to the wayside.

Anyone else want to get in on the Bet #1 with me this week?

Not to put the pressure on, but at one point last year the guys were betting over 30 sticks a week for the troops...just saying.

I think it was week 3 last year when I bet the field straight up for troop sticks. Thanks for the reminder, Cole. You're all on again. Fiver to the troops from me for anyone that scores higher than me this week. Hopefully you all muster a better effort this time. I believe I only paid out 1 fiver on this last year. Good luck

I'll bet against myself picking the spread this week!

Whichever games I lose I will owe 5 smokes per game! Seeing as I did terrible last week this will be a good chance for the troops to benefit

9/20 8:10 ET At Carolina -2 NY Giants
9/23 1:00 ET At Chicago -7 St. Louis
9/23 1:00 ET At Dallas -8 Tampa Bay
