Default Traveling to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic

I will be traveling to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic next week and staying for 7 days. I am going to try and get in two Cigar related activities that I have researched. The first is the Don Lucas cigar factory in Punta Cana. This is supposedly a very small operation but worth a visit. The second one is a trip over to the La Flor Dominicana Factory. On Wednesdays they have a tour followed by a tasting that sounds fun.

I know cigars are expensive in the DR so I’m not going with the intention of buying a bunch of cigars, but just want to see the process first hand. Anyone ever been to either of these places? Any other recommendations - Cigar or non-cigar related?
