Default Grinding Beans to Use in K-Cup system

I've been reading about fresh ground beans and have become interested in getting some myself to run through the "perfect pod" EZ Cup as I'm not looking to change coffee machines or to a french press. Wondering about an inexpensive grinder to check out for getting in on fresh ground coffee.

How inexpensive? I love my Capresso burr grinder. Got it from Wholelattelove.com, under $100. I would not waste my $ on a whirly blade chopper You gotta have a burr grinder.
There is a LOT of good info on equipment at Coffeegeek.com

I figured on a burr grinder already. Just trying to guess at how fine to grind.

I'm guessing, but you probably don't need the really specific fine grind they do for espresso. So, any of the grinders in the $100 range, at wholelattelove.com should be fine.
