Default Any Appliance Guys Here???

I am having an issue with my washing machine and need advice before PAYING a pro to look at it. I have a Whirlpool Cabiro washing machine. It was flashing DU (lid won't unlock). I checked for any codes, it gave an F80 and F83 codes. Theses state that the lid won't lock or unlock. The locking mechanism would click but do nothing. I replaced the lock mechanism with a new one and it is still doing the same thing. I tried clearing the codes and even unplugged the machine for 30 minutes, with no luck. Any ideas as to a cause or a fix???

Larry some quick searches brought these up. Might search YouTube to see if anyone has a repair video up there.

Thanks Jay. I called a repair shop and it appears to be the control board itself. Not going to be a cheap fix.
