Default Conuco robusto

I got a complementary fiver with a purchase from Famous late last year. I smoked one then and thought it was OK but there was a lot of other cigars to smoke so I haven't smoked one since. I gifted three to the troops and saved one.
Now that it has some age on it it turns out to be a good smoke. Very good construction. A dark oily wrapper around a nice looking blend. Barnyard prelight smell. Toasty taste from the beginning that quickly got spicy. Not too spicy. Thick creamy smoke. Not a lot of change through the stick but it has a mouthwatering good taste to it that I wouldn't mind having again. It started to tar up a little near the end but I just cut it again and continued. Full flavor, mid strength. $80 for 20 at Famous.

Had one of these last night....Great cigar. Perfect construction and draw. Burned razor sharp to the nub. Conuco starts off med with a little pepper and then mellows out into a nice leather, dark coco, creamy smoke. As it burns down the last 3rd picks up in flavor and strength. I will be buying more.

Cigar Asylum also got a mention in the Famous catalog under this brand. Check it out in their latest issue.

I've been curious about these, as I've seen them a few times on Cigar Monster recently. Might have to give them a try.

I smoked one about 2 weeks off the truck and it was not impressive, however it was not bad either. I should pick up a couple and let them rest
