Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's "Hump Day". As a number of you already know, a dear friend of ours Stephen Jaffee, that has been working at Hudson Valley Cigars since 1994 passes away early Sunday morning. The family and his close friends met yesterday and we had a nice dinner complimentary of Neal Schlesinger. We talked about happy times over the years and smoked cigars in his honor. Today will be the funeral home viewing and he will be cremated afterwards. Stevo, you will be dearly missed but never forgotten. Enjoy everyone as our brother Steve would wish the same......

Good morning all, the coffee is on as always and it's Friday! Today is a big day at West Point with the Graduation parade and all. Tomorrow morning will be an early one as we have to be at work by 0430 with the Class of 2016 graduating and moving on to be Second Lieutenants (2LT) in the U.S. Army. It was good to see the Yankees win again, keep it up fellas, you know what has to be done. The NASCAR racers are in Charlotte, NC this weekend for the All-Star race which will run Saturday evening under lights. Enjoy everyone and smoke a favorite or two or.......

That's good because we'll be out on the fairways of Trump National Golf Course - Hudson Valley helping out Doc James Cigars raining funds for Wings for Warriors. Anthony "Doc" Ameen flew in from Phoenix Saturday evening and is here for the fund raiser as always. Well, I see that the Yankees are on a roll finally. Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's Friday! We had a great time last night at Schlesinger's, the place was hoppin' and thanks to Brian R Vrooman from PDR for everything. I see that the Yankees lost a close one yesterday afternoon, let's hope that they have a good 4 day series against the Rays in Tampa this weekend. The NASCAR drivers are in Charlotte, NC this weekend with the longest race of the season Sunday - The Coca-Cola 600. I hope everyone has a relaxing Memorial Day weekend and try and look back and think of a family member or friend that paid the ultimate sacrifice to keep this county of our free.......

Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's back to work Tuesday. We had a great weekend with family and friends and it didn't rain like it was suppose to which is always a good thing thing. Got the yard looking great on Saturday and we even planted flowers throughout. Got to watch some baseball and NASCAR when time permitted but it was too nice out to stay indoors most of the time. We had a good time yesterday at the Newburgh Brewery for "Happy Hour", it's always great to see Paul and the crew. Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's already Friday! We had a good time last night at Schlesinger's with a number of regulars there and a few new faces as well. It's was good to see the Yankees win and hopefully they can put a few more "W"s this weekend. I actually have a busy one this weekend as I'm presiding over a wedding for friends of ours tomorrow with the rehearsal this evening at Apple Greens Country Club. The NASCAR racers are at the Pocono Raceway this weekend in PA also known as the Tricky Triangle. Enjoy your weekend everyone and be safe out there........

Good morning all, the coffee has been on since 0430 and it's back to work Monday. We had a very nice weekend, the wedding went great and the newlyweds are on a cruise ship relaxing. The Yankees didn't do so well and the NASCAR race got rained delayed until 1200 today. I hope everyone has a great week and enjoys a number of your favorites throughout it........

Good morning all, the coffee is on as always and it's already "Hump Day". It's good to see the Yankees win again, let's keep it up fellas and tighten up the MLB AL East. Got home from work yesterday with the intentions of cutting the grass but mother nature had other plans. Got a good rain storm hit us just when i pulled out the mower. I did get to turn my compost pile and clean that area up though. I'll try again today as I'd like to ensure the yard looks good and all. Enjoy everyone and be careful out there......
