Default Zippo customization...

I've got a regular Zippo that I got a butane insert for. I'd love to put a bunch of cigar bands or something on it to personalize it, but what would be the best way to go about that and have it actually last.

Any crafty peeps out here with suggestions? Thanks!

I don't personally know how to do it but I am guessing that you are talking about doing something such as Squid's lighters.

They do look very cool.

The ronsons are impressive. Amazing what you can do with a sub 3.00 lighter.

Dan I believe this is Architeuthis http://www.cigarasylum.com/vb/member.php?u=1594 and not Squid although it doesn't look like he has signed on in a while.

I know he is on Twitter and it looks like you can get a hold of him on the website.

Can you elaborate on this? What, specifically, do you recommend?

I may test it with a couple ronsons before I irrevocably alter my zippo.
