Nice pickups, Mike.

James, hoping one of the stores that consistently make good picks does an unfinished Old Elk.

I'll be bringing to Shack some hopefully tasty bottles for the connaisseurs among the group, including Stitzel-Weller juice.

Hugh you're nuts! Hope to see those cape socks too!

I went out and did a Garrison Brothers tasting last night, it was a disappointment! The Balmorhea was okay, but all eight of their blends are the same mash, and most are low proof and oversweet! It's a skip for me in the future!

There were some nice pickup's I got yesterday though.

EC Toasted (I wish EC would do a toasted barrel proof), local 1792 Full Proof TW store pick (it's amazing), and I grabbed the Shenks 2023 Homestead (92 proof) we'll see how that one is eventually!

Mike, I've loved just about every 1782 FP pick I've had. Curious to hear about yours.

Hugh, you are a madman!

Opened the SFTB last night. Thumbs up for me, tastes like Elmer T. Lee on steroids, great flavor with 128 proof kick. On the palate I got notes of orange peel, raisins, honey and cider donuts. Crazy interesting.

I need to stop by my local store to see if they got any of their picks in. Besides a 1792FP, they’re getting EC, Four Roses, Russel’s, and an 8 year Pinigree.

It was a good day at Binny's, they released Stagg 22B and 23A, Blanton's Straight From the Barrel and Blanton's Gold. Catch was you could only take one of the four. I grabbed the SFTB and floored i to the next nearest Binny's, where I grabbed Stagg 22B. It was $60 and the secondary market for it around here is $250, so I saved a pretty penny.

Nice catch. I keep missing the Stagg drops here, but it seems they are getting put out every other month. I still have a couple of B13-16 bottles in my collection.

Fulfilled a local guy's wish for a couple of black cap Early Times last week. I think I still have a case of it. Grabbed a EHT SmB this week, but honestly, I haven't been hunting too much lately.

Friday night pours. EHT SB, EC BP 922 and Michters SB. Not sure if I’ll try something else. Still need to crack open the Smokewagon I got recently.

Couple of my favorite Booker's for Friday night.

Bob, the Russell's pick I got last week is fire. Hopefully yours is too when they come out.

Tony, that Stagg 15 is one of my favorites, enjoy that one!

Lots of great pickups in here, hell of a day Tom. I've been trying to kill off bottles to make a little room before buying any more, I was about at capacity there for a minute but cleared out a little breathing room

Indeed, Ben, I don't have days at retail like that very often.

Peter helped you clear any space lately?

Hope it's tasty, Bob!

Located a backup bottle of Binny's RR pick, too good not to grab another.

The general consensus amongst my turkey fiends is that we're in the golden age of WT picks right now, they're starting to skew younger (8 years) but if you can get a good 9-10 year pick it's likely going to be delicious

Cracked open the EC BP. Holy shite! Maple syrup, marshmallow, oak, vanilla, cotton candy. Doesn’t drink like nearly 130 proof, but then you feel it about 5 minutes later.

Nice grabs. I love ECBP's but had to stop buying picks because I had too damn many. I've only found a few single barrels that are better than the recent batches, although I haven't tried B523 yet which is the first to dip below 12 years aged stated, but certainly will as soon as the stores here catch up. We're usually a couple releases behind, I tend to ship them in when a new batch starts coming out but I've been trying to be good
