Yeah, I have a buddy that likes to use that "Trees are 90% air." quote, usually when I'm trying to decide whether to punch out sideways.

This list is accurate within one stroke more or less.

i have experienced all of these and then some. My best golf is played when i realize that golf is like being at the park drinking beer with something to do.

I always aim directly for the tree, that's my sure fire way of knowing I'll never hit it.

That's usually when I put it exactly where I'm aiming.
Kind of like when you take a nice, easy swing to lay up short of a water hazard, hit it flush, and SPLASH.

Mine seem to go into the tree and never make it back to the ground.
