I had a rare one, a Macanudo with flavor! Cru Royale in toro the "Best of Dominican" Sampler that General puts out. I didn't want to put it out, it was so surprisingly good.

Jeff from Drew Estate had a cigar event at the cigar shop I work at in B'ham Al (The Humidor Room) so I've been smoking a lot of their lineup. Smoked a Kentucky Fire Cured (MUWAT) last night. Good smoke!

Room 101 Daruma - good flavor, but there are issues - quite uneven burn - some large veins and stalks. The effect is a quite uneven range of flavours and a astringent finish. Not a cheap cigar, so perhaps a bit of a disappointment.

La Palina El Dario KB. - a little nicotine bomb. Tons of flavor and aroma - almost overwhelming really. Nice short smoke with plenty to offer. Not for the faint of heart, don't let the small size fool you. Does burn hot (small RG) and the last inch is almost unsmokable.

Have you had a San Lotano Oval Maduro? I think it's his best, some of the others are just ok to me.

Torano Signature torpedo. Not bad but there's a huge knot right below the torpedo cap that I've been trying to work out all night.

Casa Magna Colorado Sanchos. A Nicaraguan puro from a tin of 3. Looks and smells tasty. A "manly smoke" - massive blast of pepper and tannins. Second third mellowed a bit with some mocha coming through. Not a subtle stick.
