I think Doc Emrick is past his prime. He mistakes players for others all the time, missed plays, and thinks that every single little shot is a DRRRIIIIIIIIIVVVVVEEEE!

I miss Steve Levy and Gary Thorne.

On to the next round. The Caps were a tough team to beat.

Great series! Congrats to the Ranger Fans (Davey-Boy), and to the Caps fans for a good season.

Now Let's Go Kings!

Hopefully the Devils can take out the Rangers.

Man I feel yucky for saying that though. Brodeur breaking the shutout record against the Penguins still makes me mad.

Now you know how I feel about Mario Lemeiux and the Penguins for skating the Cup around my house in 1992.

It's spelled "Lemieux" good Sir. Although his name can also be spelled G-O-D. It depends I guess.

Game 1 of the '92 Stanley Cup Finals is one of the greatest Pens games ever IMO. Why? Not only because of their comeback, but because of this....

I've seen the clip of that goal 1000 times and to this day it still gives me goosebumps.

Yeah, I won't be clicking the link, I'm guessing it is the Mario Jr. (Jaromir) goal.

Lemeiieuxx is Satan as far as I am concerned.

Let's Go Kings!

Yesterday's My Hero of the Day:

Dustin Brown with another game winner.

This guy needs to wear the Indian Head.

A good start. The Devils were a checking machine the first two periods though.

Nice 3rd period for the Blueshirts. I predict another long series though, maybe another 7 games.

I think you are right. their game is not suited to running away from anyone. That leaves very little margin for error.

Close but no cigar (no pun intended. )

The Youtube link I posted was of Mario's game winner in Game 1 of the '92 Stanley Cup Finals. Y'know the goal when they lined up for a faceoff in the Blackhawks zone with like 17 seconds left? Ron Francis wins the face off and Larry Murphy takes the shot. The rebound comes off of Belfour right to Lemieux who buries it.

Thanks. Next time give me a paper cut and pour lemon juice into it.

Quick w/ the shutout & Carter w/ a hattrick, the Kings go home with 2 in hand...

My Heroes of the Day.

Looks like Marty Hanzal may sit Game 3.

Nice acting again by Smith on contact he initated. And what were the refs smoking giving Brown a "diving" call on that chop in the back of the leg by Smith? I have been there, that chit hurts. Smith should get a game, but I am sure he will not.
