There was a deal on Fat Tire on base this week so I picked up a case.

Gotta say it was definitely worth it.

Summerfest is good for slamming on a hot day!!! Summerfest is a lighter beer, and not as flavorful as the porters and stouts!

Sorry it wasn't your thing! I prefer the darker more flavorful beers myself!!!

Sean - If that is your idea of a "lawnmower beer", I may just become a gardener.

I've been enjoying Dogfishhead 90 minute IPA lately at a local burger joint. So much so that I went looking for it at the store, couldn't find it, but ended up discoverying Bells Hopslam Ale. That was outstanding. Of course, it should have been given that it was 20 bucks for a 6 pack (I didn't realize it until the cashier rang it up). Very good beer though.

It's chilly and rainy up here in Minnesota, so a Ten-Fidy was very tasty.
