Have you had any 2011 GI BCS yet Nate. I heard it was way to hot (almost like the 09 fresh). Have't heard many positives reviews yet. I would be curious to see how the 11 compares to the past years out of the gate.

Dave, 2011 is the best Vintage I've ever had fresh... Believe the hype around 2011 Bourbou County

The booze is there, but not over the top like 2009 was... 2011 will be EPIC in 3 to 4 years from now!

I did enjoy the 09 fresh. The two flavors I got were buttered toast in the beginning and as it warmed up the last few sips I would get hostess fruit/cherry pie.

The 09 was boozy but I think that's one reason it's really turning out great now! It's fun trying out the same beer as time goes on to see certain one progress.

Never had a sour before.

Tried Monk's Cafe Sour Ale yesterday, thought it was barely drinkable.

Should I not bother with any other sours?

Been trying out the "Red Stripe" not bad...I think it would be better if it was 100+ out.

Goose Island Night Stalker, bottled on 3/16/10. Too hoppy for me when it was fresh, now it's drinking like a stout should.
2011 KBS, amazing as always

Is it okay to keep a stout that long after bottling?
