I wish I could drink it black. I just do not like the flavor.

One of my co-workers starts off with 4 packets of "creamer" and 12 packets of sugar in his 8 ounce coffee... If a spoon won't stand up in it, he adds more sugar and "creamer" until it does...

It sorta makes me cringe...

Hot, black and strong. Rarely a touch of sugar.

That is disgusting. I think it is strange my girlfriend always adds sugar and coffee mate but she only does a little. To me coffee is supposed to be drank bitter and black. Less calories more taste. It is like cigars kind of. Drink enough cups that way and you eventually pick up on the undertones that you didn't realize were there, though sometimes it is really obvious from the get go. Just my personal opinion though.

Black. If it is crappy coffee, I will add a bit of cream. Cream makes good coffee worse, but bad coffee tolerable.

Agreed, although bourbon will keep it black.

Granted, I cant drink hot coffee in the summertime, and I cant drink cold black coffee. So if I do drink coffee in the summer, which is rare, I'll do cream and sugar.

I put espresso over ice in the summer, sort of like a cold americano as the ice adds water as it melts. Straight coffee, though.

I'm going to have to try that. I want to buy an expresso maker. Any suggestions for something decent and cheap?

Unless I have time to mix up Cuban Coladas ... then I'll take that ... and climb the walls.

I agree, iced black coffee by itself is rarely good. I too add some cream and sugar to my iced coffee.
