Default Can I salvage this cigar?

I had a friend in town visiting and we smoked some cigars last night. He brought me an LFD that he'd picked up. Unfortunately, his herf-a-dor got knocked around and his travelling tube of propylene glycol spilled onto the cigar. It's not saturated, just some wetness at both ends on one side. I have about zero experience with P.G.; can a cigar be smoked after coming into contact with it?

James...let it dry out and give it a try. Remember, cigars are a lot more resilient than people give them credit for. A little PG solution shouldn't hurt.

Propylene glycol has very low toxicity, as Mac said you will be fine.

Anyone with asthma or e-cigarette smokers will tell you that it is very safe...if they ever cared to read the label. Been used in atomizers for over 50 years.

As others have said it will be fine. However, if you are worried about smoking the dried PG you can always take a soft damp cloth and gently wipe the PG off of the cigar.

The seemed to be the only good piece of advice anyone had so I did it.

Thanks for the responses, folks. I'm going to let it dry out, give it some time in the humi, then torch it.

You can clip that greasy foot off of it and party on. PG doesn't taste like anything and it's good for you. Full of vitamins and stuff.
