Default Has Fuente changed the Hemmingway bands?

Here are some (not so good) pics of 2 short storys I have.. I pulled the one out on the right and it does not smell good at all, so I pulled the 2nd out and it smelled normal... look at the band differences.

Pic 1 - Look at the extra gold on the band along the bottom one the left one

Pic 2 - Hard to tell, but inside the embossing on the left is white, and on the right is read

Pic 3 - Hard to tell again, but the word HAND on the left is gold and on the right is white

The embossing is alot stronger on the left side as well..

Now the weirdest part, the one on the right is from a local B&M, the one on the left is from CI...

Thoughts?

The bands have changed recently. I noticed maybe 4 months ago.

I like the old bands better. The new bands take up way too much space on the Short Story.

Looks to me like the one has 2 bands on it.

Yes, some of the bands have an extra color
band at the bottom, to indicate a different
wrapper. I noticed it on some Hemi sungrowns
that I bought last year, iirc.

The one on the right has the traditional band, the foot is a bit sloppy though. The one on the left has an overall band design similar to some of the other new Fuentes and I find it very doubtful that CI would sell a fake.

BTcigars will become famous soon enough
Default Re: Has Fuente changed the Hemmingway bands?

There is a upside to the new bands: They are a lot easier to take off!
