Re: Cigar Sized (Comment and Poll
During the '90's cigar craze, I was smoking coronas exclusively, so when I "came back", I naturally grabbed coronas, but lately, I've discovered robustos and toros. They match the amount of time I have to smoke, and have sort of an "old school" look; I think aesthetics are important if one considers a cigar as an accessory as well as a smoke. I'll likely try torpedos in the near future, as well.

Re: Cigar Sized (Comment and Poll
I smoke mostly PCs and lanceros. I also really enjoy lonsdales. I find anything larger than a robusto an uncomortable smoke.

Re: Cigar Sized (Comment and Poll
I like pretty much everything except for the ridiculously huge ring gauges (Nub for example, though I do enjoy the torpedo Nub Maduro)

Re: Cigar Sized (Comment and Poll
It was a hard choice between lancero and lonsdale, but at the moment lancero wins out. Third choice would be corona gorda, followed by the robusto.

Re: Cigar Sized (Comment and Poll
I noticed myself moving in the lonsdale direction as well. I had been smoking alot of PC's and Corona Gordas, but the lonsdale seems to have such a wide variety of flavor profiles.

Re: Cigar Sized (Comment and Poll
Well, I've always preferred something in the corona range, but lately I've been on more of a robusto kick. Pretty soon I'll gravitate back toward the smaller sizes, but right now I'm enjoying the bigger boys.

Re: Cigar Sized (Comment and Poll
I really enjoy Corona Gordas, they are probably my #1. A nice combination of length and ring gauge. I also really enjoy lonsdales, hermosos #4, and churchills (and robustos and belicosos and... ). The ring gauge is probably the biggest determining factor for me as I tend to enjoy 44-48 RG the most.

Re: Cigar Sized (Comment and Poll
Yep! Dem's the ones I like, you listed most of them. You forgot torpedos and perfectos though.
I might be strange, but I used to like just one size - robustos. Now, depending on mood, time, etc... my list is much changed. I may grab a Churchill or it might be a PC, or, it might be something else. Glad I could be of assistance. Peace of the Lord be with you.

Re: Cigar Sized (Comment and Poll
Does cigar size have anything to do with taste; or is it just a personal preference. I was just wondering since I was looking at a cigar yesterday and the different sizes had different user ratings.

Re: Cigar Sized (Comment and Poll
The smaller the ring gauge, generally means you get a more intense flavor, or more flavor than you would with a larger ring gauge.

Re: Cigar Sized (Comment and Poll
Lancero and Lonsdales, it has been that way for awhile. I started with robustos being my favs.
Although I do smoke alot of petite coronas right now due to time constraints.
