Default Heading to Daytona Beach next week

Hey everyone, I am taking the family to Daytona Beach next Wednesday night to stay through Tuesday (the 2nd). We have some plans, but nothing set in stone yet, so I was wondering if there are any members in that area??

We are staying at a resort on the beach. The wife wants to take the daughter (5) to see the princesses at Disney one day, probably the same day the boy and I go on a fishing trip...If anyone has any tips on how to find, or knows a good fishing trip out, let me know please. Not looking to break the bank, but simply go, my son (10) loves it!

Other than that, the only thing we have talked about was maybe a air boat ride somewhere.

Anyway, just checking it out to see if any of you guys/gals are around that area and possibly free for a smoke. Good B&M's

Lohman lake lodge has the best airboats rides I have ever taken with friends and family.

Fishing would be mosquito lagoon back country since the weather has really been junk for off shore and large surf. Plus shark migration typicall hurts fishing this time of year.

Any questions shoot a pm

Maybe get together a day for a smoke.

Sweet, thanks John! I'll look into those places you mentioned, and talk to the missus about keeping a day open

I agree with John.

A flats trip to mosquito lagoon to sight fish redfish is one of the greatest things Florida has to offer.

A half day trip would be perfect and probably cost a few hundred bucks, but would be unforgettable.

Man do I miss my boat.......

found an old pic fromMosquito Lagoon and it reminded me that it's not only redfish, but Gator trout that make for good light tackle fishing...
