Well it's official. Got the internship :)

A number of months ago I made a thread asking for advice on how to go about filling this 6 month gap from school I'd be having. Ended up signing back up for my internship program that I had done a couple years back.

Had the interview last week and it went well. With this economy is was pretty cutthroat and they weren't able to give us all positions at the various companies, but I got notice yesterday that I'd be working for a company called Radisys. http://radisys.com/

Talked to the company rep today, and everything is official and squared away. I start in April

6 months of freedom from school! Only downside is I have to move

, but for all the Stumptown herfers, I'll be moving to Hillsboro, so I'll be VERY local.

Radisys is a non-smoking company. You can't be a smoker and work there.
