Default MacB Dark Twist Roll Cake

I picked up a tin of this on a whim along with a Charatan pipe in a local B&M. The owner cut me a deal I couldn't really pass up.

The reviews of it can be found here

It seemed to rank pretty well and I couldn't help crackin the tin. This had quite the interesting aroma, it reminded me of a tin of smoked oysters. This kind of scared me so I put off trying it till this morning. Luckily it tastes nothing like it smells (as usual).

I took a small beater pipe I had and kind of folded the coins into the bowl, straight out of the tin. I gave it a quick press, then lit it. I was greeted with a deep tasting rich feeling smoke which has hits of lemony goodness that fade in and out. I think I get some leather, with maybe a hint of something sweet fleeting in the background, could be molasses or brown sugar type flavor.

I didn't notice any bite, but you can get a bit of a light burning up in the nasal cavity area in the roof of your mouth. I did get a bit of gurgle, but this is most likely my fault.

I think this odd smelling tobac may have a home if this flavor holds out.

Any other out there jivin on this? Let's hear it.

Chris
