Default Need a Recommendation

I am a big fan of the Gurkha Doble Maduro and it appears that these are no longer available. I have checked CI and Cbid and they are not even listed as backordered or available. What would you guys recommend as a replacement for these. I love the sweet maduro flavor that these produce and the mild body.

Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Thanks

if you like maduros and want them cheap. I'd rather the Arganese ML3 over a Gurkha any day.

ERdM Robusto Larga. This is my favorite NC maduro and it comes in an attractive tissue wrapper too!

Those Doble Maduros were amazing. The only Gurkha I ever liked. Too bad Hansotia stopped producing them. As far as a replacement, the closest thing I have found is the Sancho Panza Double Maduro, and they're cheap.

For the price point, these tend to be a pretty decent maduro stick.

I love me some Sancho Panza Double Maduros. Indian Tabac Maduros are real sweet, sweeter than the Dobles. Tampa Sweetheart Maduros are very sweet, but more in the body. The wrapper isn't especially sweet for a maduro (I don't think any Fuente maduro wrappers are very sweet), but the champagne body in them is pleasantly sweet. Just different.

Some good recommendations here...for a milder, sweeter maduro...

601 Blue (these are like smoking a brownie with spice)
Tampa Sweeheart #500
Sancho Panza Double Maduro Quizote
Perdomo Lot 23 Maduro
Maroma Maduro (offered at Famous & another good value stick)
Arganese ML3 (great value stick, but not as sweet as those above)

Some great suggestions so far. I'd also recommend the Perdomo Lot 826 maddie and the Bucanero Full Sail maddie. A little darker flavor, but still very nice.

On the mild side try

Casa Torano maduro

Also, had a RP double maddie the other day.
Was sitting in my humi for at least a year.
Nice for a change of pace from Edge maduro.

My fav maddies are AF Hemingways.
