Default Famous VSL line..

I haven't looked through a NC catalog in a while and decided the other day to look at the Famous catalog I get in the mail. I noticed they have a VSL line. How long has it been out and whats your thoughts?

I've only had the Nicaraguan but really like them. Spicy, rich, & earthy. Worth the low$$ for me.

Do they seem any different compared to the older Famous Nic line?

I can't compare them because I never smoked the Famous Nic.
It's worth it to try a sampler if you are looking for some wallet relief

I also really like the nics. The dominicans are pretty darn good as well. I think they are much better than the old famous nic line.

I just picked up a flight sampler of these on their auction site. Picked them up nice and cheap and was very happy. Smoked the toro yesterday while walking the dog and damn it was really good. Sweet and spicy. Not very complex but the flavors were heavy with dark chocolate and spice so i didnt really care that it never changed. Burnt great with heavy smoke. Worth giving a try.

I had a VSL Honduran a few months back and thought it sucked. It almost made my barf list.

VSL Honduran is an excellent stick IMO. Have yet to try the others.
