Default South Carolina Golf

Just wondering if anyone has any information on "The Ocean Course" at Kiawah Island. Looks unbelievable.

Is this open to the public or only with stay at one of the resort hotels.

I know it is expensive but anyone have an idea of how much?

havent played that course yet but last year in December my friend and I had a 6 night stay, 5 rounds at the Legends Resort. By far the nicest golf courses I have played. Got the whole package for $600 bucks, normally goes for 1400 during the busy season.

Granted, while there I had a friend that worked at the nearby River Course...so that helped. If I'm not mistaken (and this was about six years ago) the off-season greens fees were about 175 dollars, and in season was about 300. Just ball-parking but it should be about right. Hell, Pebble Beach is only 475 IN season, and it's way less famous. The last BIG tourney played at the Ocean Course was the 1992 (maybe 1994) Ryder Cup. Good luck brother...also in the area are the other great courses on Kiawah Island and neighboring Seabrook Island. I actually like the River Course best on Kiawah....Legend Oaks is also nearby and is a beautiful course.
