Was that the Raison d'Etra or did you get ahold of some Raison d'Extra? I know there's still some of the Extra floating around.

I dont like really cold beer, does this mean Im odd?

More often than not I open and pour a beer then let it set for 10-15 mins. My dad regularly says " are you going to drink that or just stare at it?"

Not odd at all, I do it with most beers out of the regular refridgerator.

SN torpedo extra IPA - not a bad IPA at all, especially for a year round release, but it ain't all that outstanding either. I'm probably moving on after this 6'er.

If beer is too cold it numbs your tastebuds, hiding all the flavor. That's why with cheap shitty beer people are like "It's so good, it just has to be ice cold." No, it's shitty, which is why it has to be ice cold.

My fridge is about 38*F. I typically pour into a glass, and sip on a beer slowly, to see how it changes from cold to cool (55*F or so). Some beers I will let warm up a little before I pour it.

I got an Avery Maharajah tonight. Good stuff.

My understanding is that the last time they made it was in 2007. Don't know if it's going to be back or not.

I had no idea. It was always one I wanted to try but never bought it because I usually would get the 120 minute if I was paying that much.

Meet up with a friend and cracked two bottles open

1st: SN 30th - Not so good. I didn't dig the taste at all with a weird dry finish. I give this two . Really not a big SN fan and still not.

2nd: Goose Island Bourbon County Coffee Stout. Holy Hell!!! This is an amazing beer!! This is much better than the regular BC. I still got 8 more bottles and that's not enough! It had amazing flavor light on the bourbon the nose of the coffee is heavenly and was tasting caramel, chocolate, and peanut butter here and there. I can't stop raving about this beer.

I need to find more!
