I definitely like this lower team size. There is going to be some actual thought needed in choosing your lineups rather then trying to scramble to find a player to stick in every slot like last year.

I think it will be beneficial when trying to pick up a player who actually plays when the injury bug gets rolling as well.

I see I have suplanted myself at the bottom of the league to start the season (again). If history hold true I will fight my way into the top 5 and then crash and burn in the last few weeks.

Two days in a row!!

(I have to enjoy the moment cuz I know it won't last. )

When my favorite team can shut down Ovi, have Backstrom score a couple and still win it's a great night!

I think I made my push towards the top a little too early. Now my fall will be much faster than expected.

Its very lonely at the bottom... at least Tom is sticking around to keep me company.

I am getting killed by injuries already =( At least Datsyuk should be playing for me finally!

So who wants to move a top tier goaltender for Vinny L, Kovalchuk or even Crosby?

My team couldn't find the net with a beach ball, Dan.

I know I will get no sympathy here because of where I am in the standings (which changes quite drastically DTD), but I just have to ***** about the fact that I have SEVEN players on IR??? WTH is up with that!?! And we're not talking about a bunch of chumps, either. Our league has five IR spots and I thought that was crazy. Now I know that it is not enough! Ha!

OK, I feel better now. Thanks for letting me vent. Now back to your regularly scheduled programming...

Injuries seem to be way up in the NHL for early in the season, I have had 6 on the IR already.

Especially since one of them was placed on the IR, then you grabbed him.
