Default Crap!

My blazer torch died after 3 years I do have two Xikar Executives but those have small containers, I can light 2 cigars and need to fill it again. That won't work on vacation or a herf.

Hopefully I can find some of those Ronson torches at the Walmart in Orlando at the beginning of my trip.

I recently picked up a Blazer micro torch (although for significantly cheaper than that price, it was on the monster), and I filled it up when I first bought it and haven't refilled it since. I think I've lit a dozen or so cigars with it too (and it's only half empty). The fuel tank is huge, but so is the flame, which isn't really adjustable. On it's lowest setting, I still have to hold the cigar about 5-7" away from the lighter to get a nice toast and not incinerate the poor cigar

Well it doesn't matter anyways since you can't bring torch lighters on the plane with ya. I'm sure those guys will have extra ronsons.

Sure you can. The Colibri cases are certified for trasporting a lighter in your check in baggage. Texcigars add claims you can carry it on but I wouldn't bet on it. I have used this a couple of times while traveling.

The warranty was a year back when I sent mine in.

I think they will also repair them once they're out of warranty, but it was close to $30 or so.

I feel silly. I fear I just suggested the exact same lighter Ferdi was talking about that just broke.

This morning has been busy, my forum reading has been skimming at most

Really? We send them in all the time from the shop and nobody is ever charged. No matter how old the lighter is at the time.

I suggest this lighter to people all the time, worked with it for 3 years, lit a lot of cigars with it. Things break, it happens.

I have a better idea.

Send it to me, I'll send it back to Blazer from work. It will take about 60 days from the day I ship it for it to return. I have no idea why they're so slow, Xikar is way faster.

Let me know if that works, Ferd.

I had to send them a copy of the receipt. At the time I'd bought it from Mark, and he sent me a duplicate receipt and told me to send it back to Blazer.

Maybe they've loosened up as far as what they require now, or maybe they accept what shops send in with "no questions asked" as a professional courtesy?
