Lots of action and you don't need the back story to know whats going on, my fiance enjoyed it having never seen any of the other X-men movies.

The last movie I watched was "We Were Soldiers", it is a great movie. At the same time living in Naples, Italy we have AFN and there are only so many stations one gets over here so your choices are limited.
