Picked these up at a local B&M, they're ugly as sin; but they smoke super even, were cheap as dirt ($60 for the bundle of 25), and taste pretty good. On top of that, they're rolled in town so I get to support my local B&M by buying them.

They're a bit thicker than what I would imagine a Churchill being: 49-50RG.

And yes, the guy who makes them bundles them in newspaper.

Never done the Red Tubos...had several of the blacks. I'd personally let them rest for a bit...maybe at least 4-5 weeks? If you wanna try a comparison, perhaps remove the caps from a couple and leave the others.
