Default Torano Master Habano Maduro Toro Gordo Review

Review # 86

Strength: Medium-Full
Wrapper: Nicaraguan Habano Maduro
Binder: Ecuadoran Habano
Filler: Nicaraguan and Dominican Republic
5 1/2 x 54
$5.50

Resting time: 3 months
Drink: Morning coffee

Prelight: Dark chocolate, hay, manure, firm cigar with a dark oily wrapper

1st 1/3
After cutting the draw is perfect with a light gray ash with lots of smoke
Dark bitter chocolate flavor right off, mild spice, coffee sweetness, dark woods and pepper

2nd 1/3
The dark chocolate becomes more of an espresso syrup and the pepper gone in the background.

Spice notes have become creamy along with the wood notes, burning nice and straight.

The spice along with the espresso are the dominate notes left on the tongue and very pleasant.
The light gray ash finally falls off at 2 inches.

Final 1/3
The draw is still outstanding with a touch of resistance, which I like from a cigar draw.

All the flavors are now smoother, blending wonderfully together with some credit to its 3 month rest

The Torano Master has now revealed a touch of a nicotine buzz but slight

If you are looking for a maduro cigar with a lot of flavor, this is going to be the cigar for you.
While the cigar is medium to full strength, I would still recommend this to a novice to give this cigar a try if they are looking to move up to stronger stick.

Maduro lovers should appreciate this cigar. I will smoke this one again and have some in reserve resting for another pleasurable smoke.

The Torano Master like many needs rest to get the most out of and the first one was too sharp but now a gem.

Smoke time: 1 hour 10 min
Score 8.5 out of 10
