Default "Magic Number" of beers.

I keep drinking, looking for that magic number to put me to sleep. But I cannot seem to find it

That would be considered a problem by some .

I'm sure there has to be other ways to to put your body to sleep other than to inebriate yourself.

Maybe try a book?

Seems to work for me ... or you could have kids, then you will always be tired. I would personally start with a book.

This. Drinking is expensive, why waste the money just trying to fall asleep after you finally catch a buzz? Not only is exercise free, it's good for you on physical and mental levels, and once you push past the first half hour the natural opioids will make you feel great.

Default Re: "Magic Number" of beers.

I have 2 kids. I have a harder time staying awake than falling asleep once 9:30pm rolls around.

Though I will say, there was a time before kids when I was going through a rough time, and routinely stayed up past 3am. Vodka always worked for me. 2 martinis. Or 2 strong screwdrivers.
