That is great to hear, I've just recently acquired some and was hoping they were good - will probably get in to them in about a month...

AB Post Embargo Robusto - okay so this is my 3rd or 4th out of a 10er and I can tell this is very nice tobacco, when I get a good puff I get lots of vanilla & honey but - these burn like damp newspaper, even after lowering these to 58-60 rh. I suspect maybe with some age the burn could be better, but when I buy an AB, I generally expect them to smoke well after a short rest. Definitely will not buy again.

Had an El Centurion H2KCT by My Father. Delicious smoke. Middle third reminded me a lot of the PSD4.

Guardian of the Farm Natural Apollo - I used to smoke these so much, I got a little burnt out on them...but now when I occasionally revisit them, I'm reminded why I smoked them so often! Still among my favorite NCs without a doubt.

Moving right along -

Sinistro The Last Cowboy Maduro Corona - this is one that I had been eagerly anticipating...has an interesting candela capped foot which I included an extra picture of above...unfortunately it appears I've been a little too eager because this is definitely smoking a little harsh, I'd say it needs another 2 weeks or so of rest but it's close! I can definitely tell this is going to be a powerful & flavorfully spicy maduro, so I'm looking forward to trying it again soon!

I was not particularly impressed and say itís an average but good cigar. For me, to buy again would be due to the price being too good to refuse.

Itís in the mix with a lot of good cigars that arenít standouts in some palate light up event. Iíve read some reviews just now and the glowing praise seems out of place or grossly exaggerated compared to my experience.

The pepper is definitely present but I would say itís the low end of medium / full and maybe I expected more.

One reviewer smoked it in the morning and that pretty much sums it up in my opinion as to itís strength and body.

I need to smoke another and actually pay attention to it to give the cigar a fair shake.

In comparison, I smoked a 2016 LíAtelier SS torpedo (only smoke the SS as the non-SS is unremarkable) and a 2017 LíAtelier du Mission and both were great with the Mission being the better of the two and it was second in the rotation.

There are just too many good cigars so at some point, itís just a matter of price. CigarFed has these at $8+ non-sale and I got them for $5. Itís a $5 cigar.

@ Weelok thanks for the honest assessment, I totally agree about there being too many *really* good cigars out there...I'd rather take the $10 I'd spend on 2 Blackbirds and just buy another Stolen Throne for example, or something else highly peer reviewed, and know for sure that I'll have something really interesting in store.

Speaking of interesting -

Espinosa Las 6 Provincias LHB Toro - smoked this last night, very nice cigar, definitely easy to distinguish as an Espinosa from first light, lots of toasty mineraly notes and even a jam like sweetness towards the end. I think these could be amazing with a little age...

Isabela Firecracker- first up with my coffee today, this one is a winner, ended up writing a lengthy review so I'm going to post in the review section, check it out if interested!
