Question Hilton Head/Nags Head/Outer Banks Stripers

These:

Not:

Are there any BOTL up in N.C. that would care to share some information on the fall Striper run?

A buddy and I have tossed the idea around about a January or February road trip up to the Outer Banks area. I was hoping that someone on here could point us in the general direction of time/tide/moon, etc. Not necessarily spots (although those would not be unappriciated!)

Maybe a group of us meeting up to Herf on the beach before/after?

If you would rather not post, please feel free to IM.

Again, thanks in advance,

Steve

A trip like that sounds fun.
I was in the OBX this summer and there was a big uproar among fisherman that a lot of the beaches have been closed to fishing by the environmental wackos.
On the board, http://www.stripersonline.com there is an Outer Banks section of the forum under surfchat that may shed some more light on this.
Be sure that the areas you want to fish will be open.
Good Luck!

Thanks, I have been lurking around that site a little. I know that there are several fishermen here, I was hoping maybe there were some that lived up around there.

Thanks again!

Steve
