Thumbs up The FRANK

you've no doubt read all the hype on size and shape and packaging. my coffin came in monday so waiting until i got home monday evening was as long as i could wait. i laid most of them down in the humi next to some blacks, and noticed how much darker the big brothers were. smooth, oily and although they are box pressed, they don't have the sharpish edges, which i appreciated.
i'd like to be able to give a flowery descriptive review here, but about all i can say is this stick was like the love child of a taino and a black label! it was rich and full and flavorful and i'm not real sure how i'm going to convince myself to put these away for special occasions. needless to say, it was nubbed.
i hope pete keeps the blend ingredients in mind, because this is top notch and i can't imagine any tatuaje brown/black label lover not being totally content with these!

Thanks for the comments... I can't wait to try one...

The guy at the shop in CO said he smoked one it was damn good. He also said he wasn't a tat fan, but that these and the blacks are the two tats he likes. Said it was a bit more mild than the blacks, but still an awesome smoke.

Had one tonight (a night too late), but still, had it outside, in the dark. Seemed fitting.

Overall a fine cigar. I am giong to let the rest of mine rest as I was catching a bit of ammonia throughout most of the cigar. Not as much as I got in the fresh black I smoked, but enough. Draw was a tad on the loose side of perfect, but very good none the less. Burn was pretty much right on until about an inch before the band. Required one more touch up after that about another inch down. Had to purch at the first touch up, and did a no flame purge after the second. I think it's supposed to be full bodied, but I didn't get much buzz from the Frank. I feel good though, so it had some nic punch to it. Copious amounts of smoke billow from this one.

I'm glad I was able to get a box of these, but I'm not sure they are worth the $13 price point. Of course, if you want them, that's the price and I'm not sorry I bought a box.

JK5 says he's got one of these for me. I'm looking forward to giving it a whirl. In recent days, I've come across a few Tats I've actually enjoyed so I'm hoping this one joins that group.
