Smoked my first bowl of Dunhill Nightcap tonight. That is some nice tobacco. One of the best I have tried in my limited experience so far!

I felt that way about a tin I smoked ~November. But then I smoked Pease "Gaslight," which is so good I would have to classify it as belonging in the stratosphere with 3Nuns made by Imperial, which is not to say anything bad about "Nightcap," always a classic.

Is there that big a difference from the Murray Nightcap to the current production Nightcap? I haven't opened a tin of the current blend yet because I still have the old stuff That being said, I'd never put Gaslight above "Murray" Nightcap. It is good, but not that good IMHO.

Off to the shop for a day of playing on the lathe. I'll be smokin' H&H El Nino to start the day, then a bowl or two of Blackhouse, finishing the day off with Magnum Opus. All will be in pipes I made.

Yesterday was two bowls of the H&H Marquee to be named later blend & finished the day with Magnum O! again.

Today I think will be a cigar day.

Right now I am finishing up a nice bowl of Penzance in my Mastro De Paja Rusticated Bent Apple. I have a three day weekend starting tonight so I thought I would indulge a little!

It's made with quality red virginia, which I love. For some reason AE never clicked with me, but I can attest to it being an excellent aromatic. I think my tastes shifted further away from aromatics. :/

Had a bowl of Old Gowrie and really enjoyed it. Could've been made better by the fact I never had to relight it and I was smoking outside for the first time in months. A great smoke nonetheless.

A wee bit of mid 90's Nightcap in an Old Dominion "Chesapeake" cob. These tiny pipes are good for a apx. 10 min. treat.

I tend to lean towards the aromatics. Mostly light aromatics though . C&D does a fantastic job with them. Then again, I have never had anything from C&D that was not fantastic.
