Default Dry Spell

I'm on a dry spell right now. I think it has been about 3 weeks since I have smoked a stick. It's killing me. Every night I stare at my humi and start to drool. I feel like someone on the biggest loser when they make them stand in front of a pile of cake and donuts. It's bad, but I just haven't had time to get one in. Tonight I am going to do everything I can to change that.

How long have you guys gone between smokes before it really started to bother you?

It doesn't take very long for me, but the very few I've smoked lately have been ruined by a cold. I hope this weekend is the time when I get to actually taste one again.

I think it was about a 48 hour period before it was totally consuming me. I am supposed to be able to get a stick in on the weekend.

Me too, and sometimes during the week I really start to crave one. Had a little work to do outside last night and was able to sneak one in.

Oh man...three weeks? I don't need the vitamin N, but I miss the experience pretty badly if I go more than a week. Me, I'd find the time, somehow! Even a 30-minute smoke can be a good one.

Enjoy your next one, bro!

I know the feeling about not having time. I have stretches where I can't get a cigar regardless of how bad I want to. Normally I smoke a few cigars on the weekends, but I have been working 7 days a week for the past few months so weekends are gone. I had off this past Saturday, which reminded me how nice a day off is, and I took full advantage of it and went to Holt's and the cigar bar above it. Since then I haven't had a chance to sit and enjoy a cigar, but I am hoping I can end that tonight. Often I plan to have a cigar, but I get wrapped up doing other things. It sucks.

It seems to be about a week or so for me, before I start to get antsy and really miss a good smoke. Most of it, is time related though, and for that reason I have pretty much stopped buying anything longer/larger than a robusto. Something about a PC that makes the perfect companion to 35-45 min. of silence.

I was just thinking about my dry spell this morning. After a camping weekend two weeks ago where I got to enjoy 3 a day, I've only had a chance to smoke one stick since . It's usually 10 pm or so before I can get a chance to smoke, and lately I've been so tired I just go to bed. I should break out of my slump this weekend

After 2-3 days I start getting pretty pissy if I don't get time for a smoke, its my only time to relax.

Over the summer I had picked up my smoking to about 4-5 a week. When I moved back to school though it was pry about 5 weeks before I had another one. I was really going through Withdrawals then. Now I am back to about 1 every 2 weeks and that still seems like too long to go.

I've gone about 6 or 7 months without one before, but in the past couple years I've never gone more than 2 weeks without one and that's rare.

Well I was able to get one in this weekend so the clock starts over. I smoked a Taboo Twist, my first. It was too young but had great construction and tons of smoke. I think I will like these as a value smoke once they get a little age on them.
