Default CAO Moontrance

What can I say? The packaging is nice, a fine, arty blue tube to hold the ring 30 4 ¾ inch cigar and the tube keeps the smell of air freshener combined with pastry nicely concealed. The wrapper is real tobacco, not the tobacco paper that Swisser Sweets use. It has some nice veins.

After lighting this horrible thing I smell a terrible sweet smell and the flavor is like a very chemical suger candy. The flavor is concentrated on the lips and not in the mouth. I feel a little burning sensation on the tip of my tongue.

The draw is light but this cigar produces a lot of smoke for a little thing.

Would I buy this cigar again? Yes, and I will give it to people who I dislike

Construction: 14 / 20
Draw: 14 / 20
Appearance: 14 / 20
Smoke && ash: 7 / 10
Burn: 12 / 20
Aroma (foot) 3 / 10
Aroma (body) 3 / 10
Aroma (head) 3 / 10

Wassup Don... Bunch of damn pansies on this forum. I will say as I have smoked the Moontrance and the Purple Acid - the Moontrance is better. I have your Acid set aside for the next run as YOU requested. If you have not smoked the Eileen's Dream, much better IMO than the Moontrance or the Acid. But as both are from CAO - you know from the start they are going to suck....

As usual, nice write up and review.... BTw, on the buy and send to others, Simon, Ed, Misha, and a few others come to my mind.

I don't dislike Simon, Ed and Misha. Now talking about "a few others" there is one name that comes to mind, Al might get a box of these

I just passed out a couple of the Moontrance Torpedoes to some ladies at a herf last night! One of them really liked it and the other said it was nasty!!!

The cigars smelled like pipe tobacco to me!

BTW - I liked these girls! Now I feel bad!
